Looks like they are also dropping terms like ‘complete series’, ‘complete collection’ and ‘Live Action’. The item numbers have changed to UPC#s.
Why would they do that? Does not make sense unless there is something driving these changes. Maybe a software change?

No matter where she goes, Sora takes her sketchbook along. The world is full of mysterious and beautiful things, after all, and Sora doesn’t want to miss a single one. The best way she knows to capture each moment is by drawing and sketching, watching and learning.
However, though Sora is full of wonder, she’s also incredibly shy. She doesn’t have many friends, except for her fellow classmates in the Art Club. But even though they all seem to be slightly crazy (the teacher included), each of them adds another bright color to Sora’s world.

###Right Stuf Undergoing Site Maintenance June 15-22
Posted on: Monday, June 15, 2015
RightStuf.com will be performing site maintenance and physical inventory this week, which has the potential to temporarily delay several store functions. New items will not be added to the store during this period. On Wednesday, June 17, we will temporarily stop processing and shipping orders to conclude physical inventory. Shipping is expected to resume by Friday, June 19th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience.
###Right Stuf: New Website
June 17, 2015
Just a heads up about the new site:
-You need to do a “Forgot Password” and create a new password for the new site. It won’t let you log into your account until you do.
-Orders and preorders lists are still being ported over so everything won’t show up in your account just yet.
-Just a heads up on the new Credit Card / Paypal policies: Cards will be authorized for the full amount when placing an order, but won’t be actually charged until shipped, so for those that use debit / prepaid cards you’ll need to make sure that you have enough funds to cover your purchase when you place it. If you use Paypal, you’ll be billed the full amount, even on preorder items, so please be aware

Also, apparently if you haven’t placed an order in 2015, the “Forgot Password” won’t work yet either. You can either wait until more info is ported over OR make a new account and have the staff merge with your old account.
I’m not liking this new RightStuf website, it’s a downgrade.
Before, when viewing an item, all the stats for the item that anyone wanted to see (eg: release date, language, format) were immediately visible. Now to see those stats you have to go to the “details” tab, and doing so hides other information. They’ve also shamelessly ripped off Amazon’s “enlarge on mouse over” for pictures of the product.
The search function also has an incredibly annoying “Search as you type” function that doesn’t even give me what I’m looking for (typing in “jojo bizarre” gives 4 titles in a drop-down menu, none of them are the pending WB release).
Why’d the kleckner do this to us?
So Amazon-ey.
I’m actually okay with it…kinda like-y…
Amazon has all the pertinent info immediately visible on the page, no tabbing required.
Likely it wasn’t his idea, there are a lot of possible drivers of a change like this. First and foremost is a legal requirement called “PCI” or more formally the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which is impacting just about all businesses that take Credit Cards. It may very well be that RightStuf’s warehousing software and web site had to be either upgraded or completely replaced in order meet the PCI standard.
It’s a pain as far as the business is concerned, I know because a lot of my co-workers have been working on it for the past year+.
Given that RightStuf appears to have done a full inventory at the same time they changed their web site I’d say there was a serious change in the back-end. Hopefully it does not negatively impact their business.
