Generally, soundtracks mean the most when it comes to actually enjoying media to it fullest for me.
Speaking of soundtracks, this has been stuck in my head all morning.

I actually didn’t like the I/O Drive Mix when I first watched the Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail OP, which is kind of surprising, since I simply adore Red Fraction.
But for some reason, after listening to the full I/O Drive Mix song the other day, I just can’t get it out of my head.

I kind of feel like I actually have to buy this album, just because Valbon is such an awesome guy.
Here is my tale
I bought The Grand Story CD a few years back on cdbaby, and loved it so much, I wanted the other 3 previous releases as well. I noticed that they were no longer made, and this was back before the owner of cdbaby sold the business to another company, so he didn’t have any digital downloads of the albums either.
So I wrote an email to the band’s address on their homepage, asking if there was any way to buy the previous releases because I was highly interested.
And do you know what Valbon did, he asked for my shipping address and then sent two of the three previous releases to me free of charge… shipped out of his own pocket… all the way from Sweden!
He’s that awesome!!
Wow you guys are really into all this symphonic metal!
That being said, ya gotta go with the classic symphonic band that I enjoy but can’t understand one bit, NightWish!
lets not forget what could be considered the grandfather or foundation to symphonic metal, and the penultimate guitar solo, Iron Maiden!
