Well on this weekend I renovated my Magic deck and when I got home I hung out with some friends and smoked a little hooka, then we went to my house and finished a bottle of jack.
I went to New Orleans Thursday and Friday to check out places for my sister’s wedding. I spent a good amount of time in the Carousel Bar at the hotel. It’s exactly like it sounds - a round rotating bar that looks like a carousel, but with bar stools. Then I had to spend Saturday and Sunday recovering. My family drives me to drink.
That’s a good deal, Shady. Way to safe bro! How’d you like N.O., I did some work down there on the Ponchatrain Hotel?

New Orleans is a lot of fun! I love the French Quarter! Would love to go back someday.
And if your family drives you to drink, then that’s the place to do it!
New Orleans is awesome when you don’t have crazy Bridezilla with you. (And, they’re not even officially engaged yet!)
We stayed in the Quarter, which I love too. I think we had a ghost in our hotel room. My sister blew a fuse in the bathroom and all the light fixtures started rattling after that. It was creepy!
I’m sure I’ll be back there at least three more times this year. I have an old college friend’s wedding in May. And there was some talk of going to The Jazz & Heritage Festival next month. Plus whatever commitments I have as MOH for my sister. It’s a good thing that Southwest has cheap flights.
Bridezilla - I like that! Will she be on TV?
Funny you should say that. I think there was a ghost in our room as well. Every once in a while we got a whiff of a musty odor that just seemed out of place. Sometimes it got very strong, almost overpowering, and we had to go outside.
I’m jealous that you are going back so much! Hope you can tell us all about it each time you come back!
So I was thinking during my layover in Dallas I could steal a car and drive to Houston and throw slices of pineapple at TAN’s office windows. Maybe steal the mail box while I’m at it. WEEKDAY WARRIOR BOOYA!!!
I plan to play Everquest 2 all weekend.

I’m hosting Easter dinner at my house. So, I still have to iron the table cloth, make the deviled eggs, make the potato casserole, vacuum, prep the ham, set the table, go to the grocery store, do the laundry, stuff crap into the closet to hide it … and the list goes on and on. Then, I plan on collapsing on to the sofa at about 9 o’clock to watch some anime. Good times.
School work this weekend. Get to read Silent Spring and prepare for an organic chemistry exam. Shwooooo.
now that I’m in my weekend (Sunday & Monday), I’ll get to prepare for the relaunch of the Claim your Bishoujo/Bishounen game on Monday!
now that I think about it it would be interesting to have boobs, I mean as a guy who does not have them, I mean, what are you talking about cause I was thinking about the reserves
WARRIORS, OUR TIME HAS COME YET AGAIN.

Oh god, that brings back such horrible memories.
What are my fellow WWs up to tonight? I have no work due next week, so I’m prepared to relax. Perhaps play some Valkryia Chronicles or Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood online. Anyone here have a PSN account? My ID is Derkish–It’d be cool to play with a fellow TAN member. I’ll post the games I own if anyone is interested in some multiplayer.
Listening to Steve Martin’s “The Crow” right now.
I’m sitting here reading on my Kindle and eating CANDY (!).
We just got home a little while ago from seeing ‘Rango’, pretty damn decent movie.
Other than that, I’m not doing anything.

I’m thinking of getting a Kindle for my birthday. It seems like such a convenient device, and the recent generation is extremely compact, light, and speedy in terms of processing power.
CANDY is a valuable resource, necessary in staying up into the early morn whilst combatting productivity, our sworn enemy.

You can’t just GET a Kindle for your birthday… someone has to GET IT FOR you! I LOVE MINE! It’s great. So many books, so little time.
And CANDY, what a great invention… I could just sit here and eat it forever.
Mmm, candy. (Looks up and down street to make sure there are no black vans around)
Not doing much this weekend. Maybe a little bit of the good ol’ 360, but that’s about it.
Oh yeah, and anime. DUH!
…I kind of wish I had a PS3 now…

I have a 360 as well, but I didn’t bring it up with me to college. Not too many games for it that I’m interested in right now, and I’m way too cheap to pay to play online. I know it’s not that much, only about $6 a month, but yeah, wicked stingy.

If you ever do, let me know! I believe there are at least two other regulars who do own a PS3. Perhaps we could create some kind of online TAN clan and wreck some peoples’ days.
I got a Kindle for Christmas but actually took it back. I’m just not a big fan of ereaders. I prefer real books. If I was ever to get one, I would nab a Nook. I much prefer the design and interface.
When I took it back, I used the cash to replace my PS3, since my ex took my old one. But at least now I don’t have to worry as much about hard drive space.

I own a PS3 and only play Wipeout HD online. Haven’t gotten into too much multi player stuff, but I do love Wipeout, Madden, Warhawk(which I totally suck at) and would love to play a sports/racing game online with anyone who plays. Names the same if anyone wants to add me as a friend.
