Papa Maou’s 4th grill fest!
Yami: “Happy 4th everyone!”

Got a couple limes the other day…
So, made homemade lime pie!
And homemade limeade!
Yami: “So sweet and tart!!! Absolutely delicious!!!”
After the movie, hit up the Walmart for surf and turf!!!
Yami: “This meal was by Maou and papa Maou! Maou made the shrimp and mushroom onion blend, while Papa Maou made the steaks! And, yes! Maou was the one who selected the steaks this time! Lol. It’s so good!!! OMG!!!”
Homemade hummus!
Yami: “It’s chickpeas with garlic in olive oil and green olives, blended together! So good and nowhere near as salty as the store bought stuff!”
Hummus is one food item that needs to be flavored to Your taste. I’ve gagged on the store bought stuff.

London broil with corn on the cob, sweet potatoes and sauteed cabbage! I just hope the steak is as good as Papa Maou’s…
With package of liverwurst purchased earlier today, sandwiches on rye with Whataburger mustard!
Yami: “So delicious! Quick and simple too!”
With stuff laying around the house! Makeshift zucchini parmesan!
Yami: “Seriously? This was only one zucchini, two packs of ramen, 1/3rd a jar of tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese??? It’s amazing!!! ![]()

Just used some stuff in the house to make a quick lunch!
Yami: “Imitation crab salad for sandwiches! Cheap to make and you make it taste so good, Maouy! ![]()
”
What sort of dressing did you make or use?
A mixture of mayo and old bay, with a bit of pepper!
Oh that’s super simple. Might be good on my chicken salad that I make from time to time.
Thanks ![]()
Yami: “Not a problem! Old bay is super great in chicken salad too!”
Old Bay is one of those seasonings you keep on the shelf for that “This Needs Something…” moment.

I hope this omelette looks okay… They’re kinda my weakness…
Yami: “Yes! And it’s so delicious, honey! ![]()

The thing about cooking is you can ( usually ) eat your mistakes. ![]()

I’ve never been able to make them consistently.
Friends kid taught me a little milk mixed in then low heat and the lid on to steam it so it cooks through helps to get them easier to make but still more times then not have them not turn out good.
