Another thing that the local Wal-Mart has turned up with is BAO Buns, which are nikuman frozen where you can mirowave or steam them. Very Very Good.

It’s some kind of exclusive deal with the restaurant that makes them. The Wow Bao buns are only available at Wal-Mart, and they sell out FAST.
We’ve used Jason’s many times over the years, it’s a good market indeed.

The next time we go, we’ll check to see if our location has them!
Nemesis: “It’s the one in front of Medieval Times. Though… The one that opened a few years ago by the Back Angus is closer to Maou’s Wawa, so we sometimes go to that one when Maou is leaving work…” She gives a disgruntled expression. “We hate that one though…”

As an aside, In the early 80’s I worked for a real estate developer who was a retired president of the TG&Y Stores Company. I learned a lot about how to run a retail business. The thing was, he was the one that taught Sam Walton how to do the same. Very little that Wal-Mart does surprises me.

Scalloped ham and potatoes with broccoli and baked green beans!
Yami: “The green beans are incredible!!! So much better than canned ones!”
Nemesis: “Oh! @mgosdin! Our Walmart actually doesn’t carry the Wow Bao buns! The employee we asked this morning even got her manager, who had never heard of them! We’re going to try the one by Maou’s job on Friday morning, and if they don’t have them, the Walmart market on 192!”

Mikan: “They’re slightly smaller than the ones from the Asian market, but the flavor is what truly matters!”
Yami: “The chicken curry one is a very mild, yet flavorful curry, while the coconut one is almost like a coconut cream pie! Both are great!!!”

Had potatoes, tomatoes, hot peppers, onions, ham, and shredded cheddar cheese! So, fiesta ham and cheese potatoes!
Yami: “Turned the tomatoes, onions, and peppers into a salsa puree, then baked it all together! It’s awesome, Maouy!!! ”

Made another batch of chili, and did a variant! Chili cheese baked potatoes with boiled spinach!
Yami: “It’s a meal fit for a king!”

The mondo omelette! 10 eggs, 4 ounces of mushrooms, a small onion, 2 tomatoes, and 4 slices of ham! All with about 6 ounces of cheddar cheese!
Yami: “Absolutely delicious!!! And you grilled the mushrooms and onions with the ham slices!!! ”
Nemesis: “The short version is Maou hasn’t had anything since before clocking in to work last night at 11:30pm…”
