Why won't my scrolling work?

http://www.theanimenetwork.com/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/Gothic_Lolita_by_hayleywarner.jpg No matter what I do the left and right scrolling arrows will not function. I cannot get past episode # 5 of anything. There does not seem to be any link to email for tech help, and my email to customerservice@animenetwork.com went unanswered. What is going on? I will not have any reason to keep my subscription if I cannot watch all of a series I like. I might as well be using Hulu for free.:frowning:

Best way to get a solution is to post your computer specs and the current browser you are using. Also, is it multiple episodes, and if so which ones? And speaking of browsers, have you tried using more than one?

Scrolling past to other episodes? If you are using firefox, you need to clear your internet cache. I had this issue as well and several suggestions were made to fix it. I ended up just allowing everything from Animenetwork and it started to work for me, but other solutions might help you.

You need to force the page to reload as it’s probably loading some old code. Press ctrl-F5 to force your browser to reload the elements of the page.

If that doesn’t work, Clear your browser cache.

I am using Internet Explorer, my computer has 2 gigs of RAM and I cleared my cache today. The scrolling does not work on ANY show, any episodes. I am trying to watch past episode 5 which is the highest the first screen of any episode goes.

Yeah, but control F-5 has a completely different response on a Mac. Mine started reading the page content…lol But I learned something new today!

cleared cache again, tried ctl-f5 neither had any effect it is like the arrow buttons are not there. When I right click on them they just say “save picture as” like there’s not a function or link there, just a picture of an arrow.

I guess when my subscription runs out I won’t be renewing. I like to watch a WHOLE series, not the first 5 episodes and nothing else. I really like Mezzo but I can’t finish it.

I’m actually having the same problem, though I’ve never had this issue before.

Can anyone else check this out and give it a try?

I guess I’ll finish watching Jyo-Oh-Sei on Hulu and come back to this later and see if it is still a problem

There may be some issues from the site update today. Like I’ve said, I’ve never had this problem before. But if there is an issue with the online player, it probably won’t be fixed till tomorrow morning at the earliest.

My picture didn’t upload either. I built a web page myself this week but can’t get something as user friendly as this site to work. Is it me?

The picture uploading in the threads doesn’t work too well. You’re best bet is to upload it to someplace like photobucket, then copy the img ] link code and paste it here. That usually works without a hitch.

Sorry you’re having such a rough night!

Yeah it looks like it’s a temporary bug today, as I’m now experiencing it also.

Anime Network pushed new updates to the site today.

It should be fixed soon, but we might have to wait til next week. They aren’t in the office right now, and it’s late evening there. They’ll be gone over the weekend for the convention.

I’ve just reported the issue to them, but again, at the earliest they probably won’t see it until they get to work tomorrow or sometime tomorrow.

We’re working on it.

For future reference info@theanimenetwork.com is the best place to email us. Note also our domain is theanimenetwork.com. We don’t own animenetwork.com. :frowning:

It’s fixed.

Or upload to your profile on the COMMUNITY section of this web site.

Here’s what I did for http://theanimenetwork.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,65/catid,5/func,view/id,32/limit,10/limitstart,520/#21840

  1. Click on My Profile
    from any forum posting

  2. In the vicinity of Edit profile
    is link for Upload photos.

  3. If you don’t have an album set up yet, click on My Photos
    and then Create album. Insert name, description, submit.

  4. Upload Photos
    : Browse to image on your hard disk, Start Upload.

  5. Click on the thumbnail, then right-click to View Photo by itself.

  6. Use the photo’s URL in an img ] link in your next post.

Well, it worked yesterday (10/29 around 1am PDT).
Right now I cannot upload any photos, and I cannot view anyone’s photos. :frowning:

Edit: Hey, what happened to ol ] and ul ]? The list items are double-spaced and they don’t have numbers or bullets!

Is this fix related in any way to why Blog / Important Notice for Anime Network Online Users - Anime Network stopped working?

        <img class="photoImg" src="/" alt="" />
        <!--next button--><img src="/" height="50px"/>
        <!--prev button--><img src="/" height="50px"/>

The img src=“/” values are screwed up.
