If the sound is anything like the audio on the Ghost Hound bluray, it should be impressive.
I don’t see how this series can fail. What a great opening episode. First class everything. Great dub, great artwork and the characters grabbed me from the beginning.

interesting, but the main is an accomplice for a terrorist attack and the guy is now going to be considered an enemy of the state, not only that but I think the fact that there is a red head gets me…
cuz of the way its animated it reminds me of Eureka Seven, which is one of my favorite shows, so this will definitly be another one of my favorites

So after I was very depressed by Casshern Sins yesterday I watched the first set of this. One problem… I got to wait for the second set. 13 ends on a cliffhanger and now I got to wait around a month.
Seriously I wish they would have released both parts at the same time like Funimation did with Casshern Sins and Corpse Princess. Still get the same amount of money ,but then we don’t have to wait.
I will tell you a secret about Casshern, the director neglected it, if its any good it is because the VA staff and a few others made it right. If I am not mistaken the director spent his time playing Magic the Gathering with the sound engineer
This series just keeps getting better. I just finished episodes 5 and 6. It looks like things are going to be getting quite interesting.

Waiting on the second set to ship out it’s been reserved for my order since last week but the rest of the order is holding it up. Have several orders that have at least one thing reserved was hoping they’d all knock each other loose as I want to see the rest ,but no go.

The sound on the first 13 episodes is OK, but the audio mixing is bad on episode 14.
The background music was so loud that it drowned out the dialog.
There were times I wished there were subtitles; the actor’s words were almost unintelligible.

Update: Like many other problems in my household, this is another one that I can blame the cat. During the wild bouncing of the walls (“He’s taken leave of his senses!”), the cat must have landed on the remote that controls our home theater sound system, and selected a sound-processing effect that emphasizes music (and bass) over dialog.

Re bad sound: I don’t have the DVDs - only the English dub on VOD (DirecTV).
Temporarily switching off all surround-sound processing (straight stereo only) made it obvious that the problem was at my end.
So when are the last 4 episodes gonna release with the English dub? I watched up to episode 22 and I’m dying to see how this plays out. I can’t go from being so used to the Dub voices and knowing them so well to the subbed stuff. It just ruins it.

Was looking at my Xam’d DVD and really like artwork they put on them. They have the nicest looking DVD art I have seen.

Who is your favorite character because mind is the main character. I like people who see what I like and plus all you guys are great any show you guys now that I like my favorite anime is people changing into monsters and a bit of syfy.
What type of anime shows do you like? I like a lot of stuff that studio Bones has put out besides Xam’d. (Scrapped Princess, RahXephon)
It all depends on what you like. My tastes in Anime are pretty varied. For Example, I liked High School of the Dead, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and High School DxD but didn’t particularly care for Death Note (Because I thought Light was an idiot. If i had a book and a Shikigami that would kill anyone whose name I wrote down in it, I’m sure as heck am not going to go all Smooth Criminal Serial Killer and broadcast who I’m going to kill.) Those 4 are more of the horror genre.
Recently, I really enjoyed Pet Girl of Sakurasou, My Little Monster,* Haganai* and currently enjoying Henneko, The Hentai-Prince and the Stony Cat. Which are all School drama / Comedies.
Sci-Fi I enjoyed Infinite Stratos, Sword Art Online.
Just really depends on what genres you like, and whether you can handle it subbed or dubbed.
