Silent Fright: Zombies Invade Your Holiday!
Weāre Alive is just like a zombie movieābut without the movie part
Run! Horrifying mobs are wandering the streets, mindlessly consuming mass quantities⦠the holiday season has begun. Everywhere you go, the same cheery tunes are droning out their sparkly message of goodwill. If it hadnāt started two days after Halloween, you might not be annoyed every time a bell does its jingle thing. How to balance the saccarine madness?
Counter-programing. For once, itās zombies⦠to the rescue.
Anytime you start to feel a little too shiny/happy this yuletide, pop in and listen to āWeāre Aliveā, a tale of the zombie apocalypse that unfolds as a radio drama. (You remember radio dramas: theyāre like movies for old people!) āWeāre Aliveā follows a group of soldiers and civilians trying to survive in a zombie-besieged Los Angeles. And in true radio-drama form, there are sound effects galore: the creak of door hinges, the crack of gunfire and, of course, the hungry, hollow moans of the walking dead.
The audio-only medium is perfect for all those times when your ears want to listen to zombies, but your eyes are supposed to be doing more important things. Like frosting cookies. Or maybe driving a school bus on icy roads. More than 12 hours of corpsified action have already been recorded, and a new 20-minute episode becomes available via free podcasts almost every Monday. That makes āWeāre Aliveā a perfect way to keep yourself grounded this holiday season. After all, as anyone being chased by zombies will tell you, the best gift you can ever get is just being alive.

FUDGE Youāve got me hooked
They got Santa tooā¦
Whoa whoa WHOOOOOOOA!!!
I feel like Iāve been waiting for this FOREVER! Paramount first optioned the rights a couple of years ago and it was in development hell for a while. Iām glad to see filming is under way and that they are considering it for additional films. It was a great book and even though it doesnāt follow the novel closely, it does have a lot of potential. Plus Iām a bit excited about it being the most expensive zombie movie ever made.
Hahaha, I like the Luffy zombie picture.
Pretear, I didnāt know you still had the picture! Quick, hide it before the more fragile minded of the forums see it and run away!
Itās still in PYP. Blame the forum for retaining things.

Why in the world would i love zombies ? Now start talking vampires and then you have got something .
Donāt post just to change the topic.
i was trying to make a joke as some people think they are 2 different types of walking dead. Looks like it did not go over very well . oh well you can not win at everything .
Itās interesting this thread should make a comeback now that Iāve finally gotten into High School of the Dead. Itās the first zombie related thing Iāve watched that I know of. Shak and I just find it swell.
