If TAN is not going to make Snow Fairy Sugar 22 available to us on DirecTV before the expiration date, they should give us access to it online for free. This is that same crap that happened last year. I am tired of getting into a long anime and then having it all go to hell in the last 2-3 episodes.
Sure as s :woohoo: t , not a single show appeared during the day.
I don’t mind waiting a week or two for resolving issues since you have to give the cable providers some time to fix the errors, but this is the 3rd straight week now that there are problems and none were resolved yet. There was some trouble last year but the updating was damn near perfect ever since Cogeco promoted to the SVOD45 package last Spring.
I am not blaming AN on this one since this is not a case of a single defective channel. Other premium VOD channels on Cogeco weren’t updated at all for most of this month…maybe the idiot in charge of the updating at Cogeco in the past came back from a parental leave ?
Since their customer service ( lol ) cannot explain these issues beyond "it’s the channel’s fault, we haven’t received any content to upload. ", is there any way that AN can obtain more info on what could have gone wrong during the past few weeks ? That would be nice to get some feedback on the weekly report.
I do agree… nothing makes me angrier than not being able to finish a series that I had gotten into. Since ‘Little Snow Fairy SugarEp. 22 – “I’m Sorry, Sugar”’ was part of last week’s update, it may take up to 2 weeks to sort it out. When I was missing the 4th episode of Infinite Stratos, it took that long to get it. Of course, me having a different TV provider can be taken into account too.
Now any longer than 2 weeks is too long IMO… especially considering each episode is only available for 4 weeks. That aside, I can understand why it takes up to two weeks to get it sorted out though…
1.) As we all may know, first Slowhand makes her VOD report and sends it out on Mondays.
2.) TAN admin. gets the report and contacts InDemand about the missing content and re-pitches the missing content if needed.
3.) InDemand sends the newly re-pitched missing content to the affected TV provider.
4.) And then, the provider will update their VOD offerings list. Of course, the TV provider can be very slow on doing this though.
Whew… what a crazy process! By the time you add all this up, if there is a missing episode that you report in here, it can take a little while to get it to your plate. And, if the episode has to be re-pitched, you probably will not see any change until a full update arrives on next Thursday. Like I said though, if it takes any longer than 2 weeks then that is when my blood would begin to boil.
Did you receive Little Snow Fairy SugarEp. 23 – “Tiny Miracle at Muhlenburg” though?
Everything is in order concerning received content updates so far. :cheer: However as you already know, the Wave Broadband schedule is still showing as SVOD 45. Will this be updated next month when the new schedules are released?
So, only last weeks’ stuff is missing now. I need to find time to watch the first movie anyway…

Yes, that’s why I am even more pissed off than on Wednesday.
They told me they sent a ‘ticket’ in to have this relisted to the FVOD schedule. I don’t know what exactly that entails or who does it, but either it’s a big deal and it takes a lot of time OR it’s not a big deal and it keeps getting shuffled to the bottom.
It’s on my list of To-Dos that I send in to them every few days, so I’m sure they’ll get tired of me highlighting it in RED and underlining it soon.
That’s just how it looked for me concerning that 4th episode of Infinite Stratos. It just skipped from Ep. 3 to 5 for that week. The week after though when the new update arrived, the episode gap was filled to say. At least you are still getting episodes of Little Snow Fairy Sugar so that looks like a good sign. Hopefully, this is fixed soon just like with my most recent missing content ordeal.
Hey, no one could be slower than Wave Broadband… LOL! This is for those that know what I am talking about.

Well at least you did get a response back… that’s good to hear though. And right… you can only do so much with word editing to be heard… or read to be better said.
Thank you, and we’ll see what happens with the next schedule release.

No 1/17 update received. All old episodes removed, no new ones added. Second week in a row. TAN or Verizon problem here?[/quote]
The last time you reported in was for the Jan 3 update and you said you didn’t receive anything. Did you finally get those shows?
And, now you’re saying that you’re missing the entire Jan 10 & Jan 17 updates, is that correct?
Just want to make sure I’m getting this all down properly.
When you don’t come back to update, I’m kind of left hanging in the air.

oSorry, if you don’t hear back it means everything eventually showed up. Right now everything is up to date except for 1/17. 1/10 was late but eventually showed, didn’t realize I didn’t report that one. Seems the old episodes are disappearing on time but the new ones are taking an extra 2-3 days to show. In fact sometimes getting doubles when they do show so that’s why I’m wondering if if it’s a TAN or Verizon problem. Thinking I report them and TAN sends them again and then Verizon finally posts the originals and a second batch. If it’s a Verizon problem I’ll get on the horn there and bitch like hell. I pay them enough per month to get better service than has been showing up if the problem is theirs.

I collect all the info and turn in my report on Monday, if you don’t report back and tell me that you’ve gotten your update, I report it as missing.
There are so many people who report to me in this thread and by PM, I can’t really go by “if I don’t hear back it means” this or that. Sorry, just too much to keep track of.
As far as your double episodes, you’re probably getting the regular updates, and then when my report goes in, they’re resending them, thinking you didn’t get them.
You know, I bought Snow Fairy Sugar stupid cheap when RSI closed it out maybe last year. Do they have any of the last volume left? It might set you back $2 or $3. Tack it on another order.

Then if that’s the case it’s probably Verizon who is slow osting them. I’ll go bitch at them for awhile then and give you a break. I understand you have a pain in the butt job that, as far as I’m concerned you shouldn’t have to do, at least in part. A lot of these systems seem to be getting TAN for free but Verizon charges for it and I’m a lot fussier about something I’m paying for than something I’m getting gratis. This translates to that I feel I shouldn’t have to be reporting problems at all, either to you or Verizon except on rare occasions so forgive me if I’m not following up when things do get fixed because, as far as I’m concerned, they should have been that way in the first place. You seem to be doing a good job and I know I’m a major pain in the tukus so I’ll let you alone for a couple days at least and go itch at Verizon
