Random Thought (of this week): Of the new series–or at least new-to-me series–I’m watching, the one I’m enjoying most so far is Gargoyle of Yoshinaga House, for its affectionately retro style and cheerful absurdity. The characters may occasionally be partially aware of the genre laws they’re laboring under–“It’s my tagline–you have a problem with that?”–but they’re never ironic or self-consciously hip about it, and I can just relax and watch it without worrying too much about the gaps in what’s going on. E.g., if the Phantom Thief escapes on a mecha, and Lili rides the same mecha through the shopping arcade whenever she goes shopping, and she dresses in a white tuxedo and is present and thought to be the culprit when the statuette is stolen, but the Inspector never adds 2 and 2 together to get 4–“What, question Lili? Follow the mecha back to its home base? Why would I do that?”, or if Phantom Thief Hyakushiki wears his top hat at all times, even when he’s sick and flat on his back in bed, and the hat remains undamaged, unrumpled and pristine…well, all these things are simply the way things work over there…
It’s just fun.

Thank you for the reply and the help. I had been checking here way before deciding to make an account and knew you sent reports out on Mondays. I’m glad I had time to get this in before then. And I’ll try to help out where and when I can. I too have battled with the glitches.
