Avatar: The Last Airbender / The Legend of Korra

So how does that work; will more than 3 episodes be shown?

No idea, can’t find a schedule anywhere and haven’t seen the commercial since. Maybe they will run it all over the 3 weeks like things used to work? daily episodes.

From http://www.nickandmore.com/2014/09/02/legend-of-korra-book-3-comes-to-nicktoons-dvd-blu-ray-announced/:

ā€œLegend of Korraā€ Book 3 Comes to Nicktoons; DVD & Blu-ray Announced
The ill-fated rollout of The Legend of Korra’s third book has finally passed, with all 13 episodes released online at Nick.com. However, five of the episodes went unaired on television. That will be resolved when Book 3 ā€œChangeā€ comes to Nicktoons this month.

The Legend of Korra’s third book will make its Nicktoons premiere starting Monday, September 15 airing Monday-Thursday nights at 8pm (ET). The five episodes that were pulled from Nickelodeon (but premiered online) will make their television debuts Monday, Sept. 29 – Thursday, Oct. 2 with the finale airing as a one-hour special.

Nick has also announced a release date for Korra’s Book 3 on Blu-ray and DVD. TVShowsOnDVD.com reports that each set will contain all 13 episodes along with extras including audio commentary.
Now I get to see the episodes I missed. I know this won’t happen but I would also be happier if the 4th and final season was exclusive to Nicktoons but I imagine Nick will stream it on their website then it will go to Nicktoons.

See if they only announced it was coming out when they tried the first time, they could have solved all the issues with no viewers because people would ahve known about it. Now I have to find out online because the commercial didn’t even tell a time, and only aired on a Nick channel anyway. They have to advertise on OTHER channels for people to know about it like the big blocks do have H2 on Discovery and such. Too many channels now for them to really advertise Dallas and Falcon’s Crest on the Knot’s Landing channel, but hey, you want viewers, you have to let them know, and at least now I know where and when to expect it. Still haven’t seen the end of Season 2 yet, so Hope I am not missing anything big that happened in the Spirit world battle with her uncle.

It’s showing on my schedule for Monday, September 22. Must have gotten pushed back a week.

Or as usual with these sorts of things TWC uses he wrong schedule or TV Guide screws up making the schedule, and it really does start the 15th. Meaning Sony and TWC don’t ahve their acts together since CBS owns the Guide provided by TV Guide for TWC, and that Tribune MEdia Services still gets copyright credits for the info in the guide. :S

Another case of too many cooks spoil the stew, so If I miss it tomorrow, I wont watch any of it either and Nick can start the overhaul of getting these things fixed or jsut get screwed over like they have every season of Avatar.

Probably better off just grabbing the BDs

No Korra tonight. They wonder why people don’t return to try to find thugs and TV ratings are dropping. Who the hell has time or interest in finding hay in a needlestack because they can’t get their acts together? ā€œSupport usā€, ā€œyou owe usā€. The begging and pleading from TV service providers for their ineptitude and incompetence is really old. If you can’t do the job quit as there are plenty of people capable of making a schedule and sticking to it and not leaving off the final episode because you cannot count or even look up the number of episodes.

I don’t care if it is Nick or ANY other lazy TV service provider, their excuses are just childish. If you want the job, you have to do the work, that is why it is called work. If you cannot do the job, then find something more to your skills, and if counting isn’t among them, I suggest some good ole fashioned manual labor!

I can understand why people don’t return to find thugs as I don’t even want to find them the first time

Does nick have an excuse for this?

got to love spellcheckers, just any old word will work because they are lazy as the ones who programmed them too!

I doubt Nick will even say anything about it, just complain when nobody tuned in to watch next week after it didn’t air this week. Always the consumer fault, never the incompetent business that can’t do a simple task. fire the customer because you lose nothing, or so they think, but if you fire an inept employee, you have to admit to your ineptitude in hiring them and theirs in doing the job.

The first four episodes of Season 3 ā€œThe Legend of Korra: Changeā€ will air on Nick Toons:
Monday, September 22
Tuesday, September 23
Wednesday, September 24
Thursday, September 25

Episodes stopped airing on Nick Toons at Episode 8.

Episode 9 will air on September 29.
Episode 10 will air on September 30.
Episode 11 will air on October 1.
Episodes 12 & 13 will air on October 2.

That will close out Season 3. I don’t see any of the other episodes airing during this time.

So they are skipping episodes 5~8?

This is the reason I say TV program places are full of morons. Simple abiltiy to count has been shown lack ing from EVERY TV series provider I have ever seen.

They wonder why the show isn’t doing well on TV, this is why, when you screw up, people get tired of chasing you around when there ae so many more channels, and won’t bother to come back when you get your act together. You have ONE chance to get it right the first time, AKA first impression, and when you screw that up, there is TAN VOD where you can currently watch K-on the movie, butchered scripted subtitles of Haikyu, Log Horizon, Campy-one, HBO OD has both Hobbits, Encore has all the RoboCop movies…

Why would I chase down a show that can’t get itself airing and even was missing part of the story because of multi-media used to bridge the gap, when I can get other things at the touch of a button?

Still havent seen the end of Harmonic Convergence because it never aired or was labeled wrong in the guide, and NEVER put on VOD. So why should I bother supporting Korra anymore in any format? Some excuse like Syfy saying ā€œWe know Stargate Atlantis doesn’t do it for you, but watch anyway so we know you support the show so we can make another one that will complete suck the life out of the franchise by trying to be the sucky BSG remake knock-off with Starbuck with tits!ā€?

You want the customer, you want their money (in this case viewing time that converts into advertising dollars), then YOU owe them something decent to make them want to stay. NO consumer owes ANY business anything let alone loyalty when the business providers nothing of quality, not money nor their time. This goes for Nick, SyFy, other I have said it to directly, and the ones I haven’t as well.

Business lesson 1: The customer is always right.

You learn this, and you will have more customers and a larger revenue stream, otherwise you will be working at McDonald’s after John Malone buys your business from you and consolidates personnel!

What is the point of skipping 4 episodes and expect anyone to want to even bother trying to watch it?
So they are skipping episodes 5~8?
You’re welcome.

Well, it seems that they’ve changed it again. Now, episodes 5-8 will be airing.

Episode 5 - Monday, September 29
Episode 6 - Tuesday, September 30
Episode 7 - Wednesday, October 1
Episode 8 - Thursday, October 2

New episodes, beginning with Episode 9 begin on October 6.
Bending to viewer pressure, perhaps?

Here’s a new trailer.

Final episodes of Book 3 aired on Nicktoons tonight. I have to say I was quite impressed. That was quite a frightening battle with the poison in her the whole time while you’re on a rampage. I’m glad it got taken out of her body in the end. The ending made me feel bad for Korra, seeing her in that wheelchair feeling helpless. :frowning:

Looking forward to Book 4 and how things reach a conclusion.

Marathon of Book 3 ā€œChangeā€ on Thanksgiving, November 27 starting at 5pm ET on Nick Toons. (All episodes)

The Legend of Korra, Book 4 ā€œBalanceā€, begins Friday, November 28 at 9pm ET on Nick Toons.
