Plot Summary: Rino Randou is a young girl with a head full of air and a talking puppet on her hand. She is accepted into the illustrious Gokujou all-girl’s school, and is summarily, almost curiously, accepted as part of the even more illustrious Best Student Council, who has more power and business ventures than most large businesses. Now a part of the student council, she befriends the talented members of the Best Student Council, leaving one to wonder how a girl with seemingly no talents or redeeming qualities would get chosen for such a group.
Speaking of this series, I’ve been meaning to bring this little annoyance up.
I first watched this series on the online player and noticed that in the later episodes, the OP is out of synch, I figured it was just from watching it online since some streams get slightly out of synch online (as well as play slightly slower, highly noticable on Area 88, the speed difference between online and DVD).
However, this is not the case in this particular series, even on DVD in those later episodes, the OP is out of synch. ADV is usually really good about keeping synch, but they slipped on this series.
I almost forgot how much I love this series.
It’s kind of like listening to the “who’s who” of ADV female dub cast. It’s got all the fan favs.
This is also my second favorite KVD role, as she plays the main roles of both Rino/Pucchan and does such an awesome job switching between the two, just like she did with UFO.

I agree, Kira Davis always manages doing a really good job, she’s one of my favorite VA’s :silly:
Ackk I also noticed the OP’s crap syncing. I guess that they had to muck it up somewhere. But still, it was one of my first series that I kept up with so I love it for that.
IIRC the episode where the American girl’s mother comes to visit (I haven’t watched this in a while and I’m too lazy to wiki for references to be more specific) is MUCH funnier watched in Japanese with the subtitles. They try with the dub, but it doesn’t work nearly as well. I’ve watched it both ways, I have a few of the single DVDs.
It was time, so I pulled out my DVDs and started re-watching this today.
It’s kind of funny actually, out of all the series I have and have watched, there’s only been 4 series I’ve seen more than this one.
The replay value on this series for me is amazing!
Especially for a series that hasn’t quite made it to my Top 5 list.
Wow!
I think what amazed me most about this video (beyond the fact that her voice doesn’t match her face) was the all out audience participation during the song.
