That feeling when you feel like you’ve been spending to much on complete series then put all of March Comes in Like A Lion in your cart . I was excited years back when we got into the same region Blu-Ray as Japan . Then some of the Japanese companies started up American branches . Licensing shows that would have been nice to own ,but the prices were kind of crazy for the content . They started getting a little better then well you run across this and start looking at the UK and Australia releases of shows cost . In the end like a few shows just have to watch online and hope down the road a chance to own might pop up .

Wow, that really does add up.
I remember when one of my bros bought the then-legendary first release of Aniplex’s The Garden of Sinners bluray set. Even adding on the cost of the later-released 7th film, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t that pricey. MCiLaL costs more than even the legendary Fate/Zero or F/SN UBW over @ RightStuf 
…this reminds me that I was just on Amazon and it reminded me that for £40.95 (~$53.89) I can buy all of Rokka of the Five Braves on Blu-Ray with a dub. RightStuf still wants a whopping $215.94 for the only US offering of the blurays, and they’re undubbed!

I remember wanting all of those releases from Aniplex and having to say no . I go sort of away for almost 4 years and come back to the same thing from them . It was more looking at it the same way I did the LOTGH set and my action figure collecting . For what I’m going to pay here I can get all of this instead . With LOTGH sounds like I dodge a speeding semi from the issues they are having .
The biggest disappointment however is the same giving lower quality masters to prevent reverse importation . Then companies like Aniplex getting praised because thier releases look better on the video and sound better with the audio then what we would have gotten because they’d have given crappy video if someone else was even able to get it .
End of my rant : I put a pre-order in for Gunsmith Cats Premium over at AnimEigo . I wish they could be involved in more because other then a few hiccups which they’ve fixed they are still one of the best companies in the business .

I’ve even got an Amazon UK account because of my wife’s wanting a John Barrowman musical from BBC that was a UK only thing.
So, I will eventually be buying the UK releases of all this overpriced Aniplex stuff.

It’s fun figuring out the magic weight that causes a delay on shipping from Amazon . Had to separate stuff in to three orders to get them here Monday if I did not it’d been Thursday .

I split my last Amazon order into Two shipments to keep it all from coming on Friday ( 3 days ) instead it was Thursday (true 2 days ). Not as drastic as yours, but still annoying. Amazon used to be diligent shipping product, now they get lost trying to play games with their customers.

Well, we got one of our credit card bills late last week. It looked odd to me since we were over limit and it’s a card, CitiBank, that we rarely use. A closer look today and there was a series of charges in Aug & Sept that weren’t authorized by us. Some Church in California, looked like the Pastor said “Amen, and charge that Card again!”.
So, the card is cancelled and will be reissued with a new number. CitiBank will reverse the charges and I have to say their customer service did an excellent job.
No clue as to when, where or how the card # was stolen.

Nothing like going to pay for something and because your bank was slow to allow the payment to go through even though it said it did to your credit card . It declines the transaction as your credit card is reflecting a negative because the bills that were supposed to be paid by the payment you made almost a week ago did not actually start processing out of your bank til today . Glad I keep my debit card on me still as I was short on cash .

Edit: on the phone they are not sure what’s going on either .
Edit 2 : Bank is the problem as I was thinking originally . I usually pay two weeks before the due date and before all the bills come in so I never notice . Adulting sucks even more when stuff happens .

Mine are silenced . Did get the message but no noise . I’m showered and clothed so now I’m off to pick up my order from Target . These online in store order pick ups are great . No need to go to far in the store and buy tons of junk I don’t really need while looking for what I do need .

I don’t quite see the need for a Presidential Alert system on our phones since if POTUS tweets something, we hear about it almost as quickly 
Also, I don’t like that this alert system cannot be disabled by the end user. I bought my phone outright with my money, why should DC get to have more control over it than I do? 
After the debacle in Hawaii, where some joker sent a fake nuke alert to all phones, alert systems like these seem more a hindrance than a help.

A little update : So was told by the credit card company they floated the money because I paid them to much at once and it was suspicious to pay that much at once . Did not like when I said so you don’t want me to pay the statement balance in full so you can charge interest ?. Was told it’d be fixed this morning at 12:01 am . Well it’s not . After January (or more like February since they are Sentai PBS’s ) when all of the pre-orders come in not using this card anymore . Used them mainly because they had the better rewards program . So also the original CS rep blaming my bank was bull crap.
The only good thing was all of the health and car insurance payments were allowed through .

Came home today to find my oven had shorted out. The thing was screaming and the display said F1. Looking that up, that means the motherboard is fried.
There’s a used appliance store right in Intercession City. Going there, the cheapest one is $225. I guess there goes my next paycheck, and I will be using my microwave and emergency hot plate to cook until then…

That sucks we had it happen to a washer mid-cycle a while back . I think they’ve over complicated things with all these electronics .
