Went to my city’s first ever Comic-Con over the weekend here in Oklahoma. Spent Saturday just looking around at everything and then went back Sunday spelunking for Terminator, Aliens, and Godzilla comics. Took too long looking at comics and missed out on getting my poster signed by Johnny Yong Bosch. Pulled the damn thing off the wall for no reason LOL. Maybe next time.
Edit: oh yeah I also bought this there as well.
I just realized as I was looking for some place for a quick lunch. Near every big fast food chain here has ditched either the grilled or Charbroiled Chicken sandwich. Chick-fil-A looks to be it for non-fried chicken option fast wise at least. Though it’s Sunday. So guess I’m fixing the one piece of frozen chicken I found that is good to Halloween.
Wendy’s has as well?
Admittedly, the last time I went to Wendy’s, did not even pay attention to the menu…
Just walked in, ordered a family size chili, paid, then left with the chili…
Yep all fried according to the online menu.
I’m guessing it’s more of a pain to do them and to be fair I’ve gotten my share of undercooked grilled/char chicken. It’s why I originally cut them in 4s. Now it’s also because of my bad jaw.
Have you got a Cracker Barrel near you? We used to take my MIL and she always had the grilled chicken sandwich.
Last time my meat was raw in the center. Not been back since.
I think all the fast food franchise restaurants are tipping the foodies scales on the end of the opposite polls and cutting out the semi menu items.
Like you are either a meat or plant eater.
That’s just how I feel the fast food is turning into.
I thought Carl’s jr still had a grilled chicken sandwich. Although I haven’t been in one for awhile so maybe it’s gone there too.
I think it’s they are trying to idiot proof the prep. No offense against anyone but I find the newer generation a bit dense in the thinking department. Not really their fault though.
Yeah… That’s not gonna happen…
Once you think something is idiot proof, a greater idiot comes along and says WATCH THIS!!!
Well took my mattress back. Long story short one side caved in less than a year. Place I got handles warranty returns.
They did not have anything in store. So now as soon as a bed can get here is Sept 5th. So while I wait moving stuff around. I want to get a decent gaming or office chair so I can spare the new mattress some time with my butt. Was thinking a decent recliner would be nice but something on wheels makes more sense for the space. Looks like my first choice is out of stock so I keep looking.
Hope your bed ends up coming earlier!
They do make recliners on wheels. If you do a search for hospital recliners, you can find home models, but they are expensive.
I also saw these, but I have no idea how well made they might be -
Amazon has a lot listed so I am sure other places have them too.

They seem to be more popular in Europe and Australia. I wish you luck in your search!
So the blu-ray shelf I bought way back in April. I finally got together.
Problem was its wobbly as heck. I’ll just use the wall secure pieces.
“What the heck is the crud?”
Trip to Lowe’s for some stuff to mount pipe and some heavy duty drywall anchors fixed it.
Two on each side one was where a stud is so used the ones that are supposed to hold 100 pounds per screw in a stud and the other side has 75 pounds per screw. I’m not taking chances. ![]()
Open up nugget bag, 12 nuggets. I usually eat 9 but if I eat 9 I’d only have 3 left. I could eat 6 but then I’d only be eating 6 nuggets. Makes all 12.
Wawa started the Siptopia $3 specialty drinks promotion yesterday. And on top of that, free coffee Tuesday started today, but the coupon in the app is good on both Mondays and Tuesdays.
And just take a guess who was in beverage yesterday…
Well….I just finished expert equilibrium training, shoveling 900 ft. of driveway with 3 inches of wet snow, thick ice all the way down.
No damage run.
