http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ It’s faster and loaded with great new features, so go get it!

I didn’t even know there was a new firefox since it hasn’t told me to update yet. Looked over some of the new features, and it’s very nice. Gonna get it now.

I got the new Firefox yesterday as well and it’s so much faster compared to the previous version. I’m able to load so many more tabs very fast now. Definitely one of the fastest browsers I’ve used on my computer. Two thumbs up.

Still not quite as fast as Chrome, but the features and customization of Firefox more than make up for it. :silly:

Google announces their OS, http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/introducing-google-chrome-os.html.

All and all, I’m not surprised by this. Will I jump on it? Probably.

Says it’s intended for netbooks only.

It expands even.

Bah. Can’t BELIEVE this is happening to me.

My MacBook Pro has gone and broken on me. The trackpad button stopped working Saturday. I can’t click anything >_< Good thing I bought a mouse, or I would not be posting this. Going to the Apple Store later to see what needs to be done. Might not have a computer for a bit.

update: Made a reservation to go in Wednesday.

Haha, that reminds me of when I used to use a wireless mouse, when that thing crapped out on me I had to use keyboard navigation until I got my batteries. Basically I just tabbed and arrowed through everything, learned to press alt a lot to get to the toolbar, as well as the context menu button. That’s probably why I’m no where near as reliant on the mouse as I used to be.

Sucks about your mac, sounds like it’s at least under warranty still though.

Mac, it just works.

Sorry, couldn’t resist. :woohoo:

So I noticed that the single PCB GTX 295’s http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000048&Description=gtx%20295&name=Desktop%20Graphics%20%2F%20Video%20Cards
They perform the same as the dual PCB GTX 295. Surprised? You shouldn’t be, it IS the same card after all. xD
Worth $500? That’s up to the individual purchasing, but I’d personally stick with an HD 4870 X2 for $350. Or CF two 4890s for around $340.

Meh, I don’t know. Dual cores are already kind of “so last year”. By H1 2010, it will be nearly obsolete. Plus, I’m not feeling those rather high prices for them.

Just something I’ve been drooling over.

Ahh, don’t waste the money on that! If you’re looking, you’d do better to build yourself. Even if you really would prefer a prebuilt, there are still better options. :side:

I never said I was going to buy it, merely that I was drooling over it.

However, I always go with OEM prebuilt if I do buy a computer, and I usually go with Gateway, since I’ve had the best experiances with them. So all in all, if I was going after a new computer and I had the money, that would be what I would get.

Just wanted to make sure you weren’t gonna waste money. I got your back man. :woohoo:

Another random feature that I like about Google Chrome, that I just discovered, whenever I press ctrl+f to find something it puts a little yellow line on the scroll bar for each instance of the word you were trying to find. Kinda sweet if you kinda know where a bit of info is supposed to be, but have to go through a lot of stuff to find it, especially if there are quite a few instances of the word.

Massive bumpage for impending 5870 release!

That thing is xbox huge! Seriously though, there’s two DVI, an HDMI, and what other output on the back their? I can’t immediately tell what it is, want to say it’s esata but that makes no sense as far as I can tell.
