I finally received Buddy Complex combo pack (Itâs a sub only release) and with the Exception of the Blu-Ray Menu (Which Funimation Excels at by the way) it was totally like a Sentai Sub release. They Didnât even use the clean opening / closer to create their English Credit Opener / Closer that they normally do, and after the episode is over they had an English credit sequence like Sentai releases.
And this is still the butchered Funimation version. Great show but Funi really ought to have at least left the ending credits intact, even if they wouldnât get the song. Iâm always tempted to buy another copy of it though to âcast my voteâ for Funimation getting its rear in gear and bringing out the long-awaited bluray.
Someday, Funi will put their Texhnolyze rescue on sale so I can get it. Maybe it should have been in this sale as it fits the bill more than Rosario + Vampire lol.
