I just have to add this: why is Senko ( a BD only release) and Date A Live 3 (a BD/DVD combo pack) the same price?

It makes me wonder are we paying for the reverse art and slipcovers . The pricing not changing when they add DVD’s makes me wonder even more . I know people used to use the DVD’s as loaners or sell to offset the cost . So there was value in them . The digital people are still having issues with and being exclusive to Funimation means not really much if any value ,but then again the releases with DVD’s come with both .
I know the shows they include DVD’s with are ones with previous seasons ,but Funi has a habit of not really being consistent . So maybe them keeping up that is even more of a surprise to me .
I’m kind of scratching my head at there only being basically a $5 difference between a 300 minute show and 600 minute 2 season show .

Are all of these positions really necessary? I can’t help but get concerned when I see a relatively small operation breaking out these fancy corporate positions as it seems like they’re gonna “mess with success” as, so far as I am aware, Funi built the success it has seen so far without a battalion of executives from yuge multimedia companies who, for the most part, have little to no anime industry experience.
