Weâve had some similar reports from iPod Touch users- youâre the first to report this on a iPhone 4.
Sending your report to the developer.
In the mean time, can you check under SETTINGS>ABOUT for your iOS Version (Itâs between Capacity & Carrier) and post it back.
Another thing to try is to kill any other apps running in the background and try launching the app again. If it still crashes, that tells me that itâs unrelated to having too many apps open at once.
iOS version on my phone is still 4.0.1.
Have shut down others apps but still get the same thing happening.
Also my is NOT jailbroken.
Thanks for the info. Sending it to the developers for further exploration.
I canât sign in to my account within The Anime Network app.
- What kind of device: iPhone
- Version of device: iPhone 4
- iOS Version: 4.2.1
- Connection type: WiFi
- Are you using the App or Safari? Using the App
- Name of show and episode number: Not an episode problem.
- Any other facts about your situation: See below.
This issue occurs at any point. If I open the app and try to sign in on the âHomeâ tab I get this issue. If I try to sign in on the âCommunityâ tab I get this issue.
In all instances after entering my info the first tap of the âSign Inâ button does nothing. A second tap will change the button to âSigning inâŚâ, but nothing happens regardless of how long I leave the app.
Ok, I just recently downloaded this app for my iPod touch and I was wondering if there is support for the âvideo outâ function??

Forwarded to Admin.
In short, no, there is not a video out support function with our app. The files used for the apps are configured particularly for viewing on these devices.
Hope that answer was helpful!
Another update and I still have the same issue happening with mine.

Can you give specific description of the issues you are still having so I can pass them along to the App Tech Team?
Same as my last posts, nothing has changedâŚ
I click the app to start it and the logo screen pops up then it closes.

Weâve sent all of this information to our App Developers for further review.

Send your email to info@theanimenetwork.com with the Subject: AN App Crash Log
In your email quickly tell us:
- What device you have and itâs model/generation (iPhone 4, iPhone 3g, etc)
- Where the crash occurs (on loading, when browsing for a show, all the time, etc)
Then attach any crash reports from the folder that are related to the Anime Network app (the name will tell you)
Weâll pass all of this along to our development team to use in fixing the problem.
Since this issue is affecting users and devices at random, we need as much information as possible to find the issue and fix it.
