Sub only like most of us were figuring would be the case.
Price is good though.
For Bandai Entertainment from now on expect if it is not on TV no dub.
Bandai also cut the last LE for the series so this should have been even more expected.
(In advance, sorry for the double post, no one has posted since my last post about 2 weeks ago)
I figured I’d ask this here. Why is disk 6 of Lucky Star so rare? I understand Bandai no longer produces DVD’s and Vol 6 of Lucky Star didn’t have a Limited Edition release, but was the regular release a short print? Or was it something like Eureka Seven Vol 11 which not only had a shorter print run, but many of the first run disks were defective?

Ah the Choco-Cornet. Yep, I’d bet they have the materials in house and are working on it. I’ve got all the Bandai DVD releases which were pretty nice, so I’m likely to only be interested if their Blu-Ray is reasonable.
After Funi announced their July release schedule, a lot of folks wrote in asking if the Lucky Star OVA’s would be getting dub treatment this time around. The solicitation material didn’t say, so I reached out to the brand manager down in Flower Mound, who said:
To be expected, Funimation is working with the original Bandai produced materials for Lucky Star. It would be a logistic nightmare to try and re-unite the dub cast from the series and have them do the OVA.
