Hey everyone. My username is Fromtheashes, but everyone usually calls me Phoenix. I’ve been a fan of anime since I was 8; when I was watching…pretty much everything that was on KidsWB and FoxKids before eventually watching everything on Toonami, Adult Swim, and G4’s Anime Unleashed as I got older. Around the time I was 14, I had discovered The Anime Network OnDemand and was fan ever since, falling in love with shows like Azumanga Daioh, DNAngel, and Puni Puni Poemy.
I went through a few years when I wasn’t into anime at all at one point, but then my faith in the brilliance of anime was restored when I got emotionally invested in Clannad back in 2011. I especially have TAN and Sentai Filmworks to thank for making that available on Netflix for me to find. 
Ever since then, TAN has always had a special place in my heart for anime watching. Crunchyroll is the only other site that I use more while Funimation is behind TAN in terms of what site I watch anime on more, despite TAN not having a better video player and a Roku app. (Make it happen, guys!)
Anyway, as the title read, I’ve been a member of this site for almost three years and I realized that I never posted on these forums ever. XD I, at one point, was semi-invested in the profile-making/commenting/social-networking part of this site but even that didn’t last very long. So, I’m hoping to be a solid contributor on this new forum.
I’m not even gonna name my favorite anime because there are too many. Instead, I’ll just link you to My Anime List chart, organized by scores. That should give you an idea. I also write my own reviews on my Tumblr page. So, if you’re ever interested, check it out here.
