My Fat Boy!

Pro tip:

DO NOT INHALE

Oh yeah Fat Boy was the name given to the Nuke Dropped on Hiroshimaā€¦

R.I.P. Psycho 12-1-2009
Well my fatty just died about 2 hours ago. He was a good boy, and Iā€™ll miss him. Thanks to all of you who sent out your thoughts to him. He had a good couple of months after his heart attack. He was playful and active, and things were looking up. But, his time had come, and now he up in Kitty heaven with his Mamas(actual mothers name).

My condolences there Slick.

Thatā€™s terrible. It really hurts to see your pet go. My condolences Slick. :frowning:

My condolences as well. At least he was loved while he was with you. Iā€™m sure heā€™ll be looking down on you.

Thanks for your thoughts all. I loved Rainbow Bridge slowhand. It was nice, and it lifted my spirits. Psycho was my main cat. I have two others that are great, but Psycho was the best. I will especially miss how he used to give me kisses on my nose.

Very sad to hear slick. Iā€™m sure it must be a very difficult time. :frowning:

Very sorry to hear that. I know itā€™s hard. Pets are members of your family. they can be just like your kids.

My heartfelt sympathy Slick. I know the loss youā€™re feeling.

Again, thanks all. Iā€™ll be sure to post some pics of Psycho, and my other pets sometime later.

For some reason I didnā€™t see this thread when you first postedā€¦ but I know how you feel, one of ours they think had a stroke and we put her down just before thanksgiving. Poor thing couldnā€™t stand up hardly, her heart rate was too slow, she just dissapeared and didnā€™t come out all day, sheā€™d crawled way under the bed to hide when we finally found her. It was almost worse because she stil knew us and still purred when we petted her. The docs thought they could do a little for her and keep her going a few months, but between age and not knowing for sure what was wrong the prognosis wasnā€™t good.

One of us had the other trained (Iā€™m not sure who trained who) that every time I passed by the one chair sheā€™d climb up on the back of it so I could pet her and give her some attention, I miss that already. She went from a barn cat that had been abused and was scared to death of me, to coming to me of her own accord.

But at least she had a long, happy and pleasant life with us and I hope sheā€™s doing well in the place that cats cross over to.

Sheā€™s in kitty heaven

The same basic thing happened to my Psycho. He had a blood clot, and he couldnā€™t move his back legs. His back half of his body was ice cold. Iā€™m sorry for your loss as well Rebecca. Itā€™s surprising how much a cat can mean to you. Mine had me trained as well.

Ya, thatā€™s fine with me. The world should know the awesomeness of my boy. I had pics of my animals on the other website, but they were lost. I need to upload some pics via image shack, then Iā€™ll pot them.

Well thatā€™s good. I canā€™t wait.

One of the roughest moments in my life was when I had to put my fourteen year old cat, Roxie, to sleep. Came back from my sisterā€™s wedding and she had become emancipated within five days. We rushed her to the vet er, and for one month forced fed her trying to figure out what caused her to stop eating. She seemed to do better until she constantly coughed and had trouble breathing. Vet finally realized after draining a ton of fluid from her lungs that she had cancer in her lungs. She had a life of misery ahead of her due to that, so we put her down.

That was a few years ago, but I still miss that cat. She was a very good cat.

Hereā€™s one of my favorite all time pics. Psycho, and his best friend(My niece Hannah) a few years back.
