4th Naruto Shippūden Film Green-Lit

The next episode is one of my favorites. Sakura really gets a chance to shine in this one.
After a string draaaaaaaaaaging episodes - (watched last week’s this week also since we didn’t know there was a new one, good thing for Disney showing an encore before the new ep. ;)) - I thought the last 2 episodes were really strong and the cliffhanger was exciting. ARGH, I want to see more than 1 new ep a week.
I can’t wait to see what happens in the next episode. On the whole, Shippuden is off to a very good start and it certainly reminds me of the glory days of the original Naruto’s strong episodes. I’m hooked on this series right now.
The english previews continue to be remarkably stupid though. I really want to know if this is typical Viz idiocy or if Disney forced this on them. -_-
“The Medical Ninja’s Student”
Sakura really shows what she has learned from Tsunade. I think she is now one of the top medical ninja in the village. Chiyo had to eat her words about the Leaf sending second rate ninja. Like when Kankuro asks Naruto to save his little brother.
My DVR shows no episodes for Wednesday but a four episode marathon for Thursday. With DisneyXD not sure what to believe.
8:30pm - 12 "The Retired Granny’s Determination"
9:00pm - 13 "A Meeting With Destiny"
9:30pm - 14 "Naruto’s Growth"
10:00pm - 15 “The Secret Weapon is Called…”

Like I’ve typed before, Viz can get away with 2 episodes per week for a least 6 or 7 months.
If only they would. I keep wanting more, especially after the pretty good cliffhangers. I don’t expect it though. It’s just nice to have something at least, Shippuden’s been a long time in coming and it’s nice to have it finally watchable with the dub. This is one of those series after watching a dub for so long, I can’t switch to sub, especially with how good the dub is with an all star Los Angeles cast.
Looks like while no Naruto Shipitbacktojapan on its normal time this week . The next day (New Years Eve) we are getting 4 new episodes.

Disney is doing a bad job informing folks with their schedule changes. Someone could have easily missed this event.
On the upside, I can’t wait to watch 4 episodes this week of Naruto.

Knowing them they probably ran a commercial for it during other shows that most of us don’t watch. I’ve not had much else to watch since Spectacular Spider-Man ended and they moved most of the Marvel shows around to late or early mornings.

Actually, Psychopuppet, that’s exactly what they are doing. I can confirm that they are showing a commercial in the early morning, becuase I actually saw it at about 8 a.m. CST as I was getting ready for work (I was watching/listening to X-Men Evolution). However, it’s not a stand alone Naruto commercial. It’s kinda buried into a commercial that they are showing for marathons of various shows on New Year’s Day. If you weren’t paying attention to commercials, you would probably miss it.
I’m really happy about seeing several new episodes in a row. It seems that we are just getting to a really interesting showdown, and it will be good to see most, if not all of it, uninterruped.
As Pup & Shawn Merrow both pointed out:
NO Naruto Shippuden on Wednesday
Thursday, December 31, is New Years Eve and we’re getting 4 new episodes
8:00-8:30pm (ET) - The Medical Ninja’s Student <repeat>
8:30-9:00pm (ET) - The Retired Granny’s Determination NEW
9:00-9:30pm (ET) - A Meeting With Destiny NEW
9:30-10:00pm (ET) - Naruto’s Growth NEW
10:00-10:30pm (ET) - The Secret Weapon Is Called… NEW
Did notice with the new episodes they are cutting blood out. Not sure what they plan to do with future episodes where its rather important to the story to show the blood.
Sorry for the late message, but I wanted to look ahead a little and be sure of this before I posted.
It looks as if DXD is going to be showing Naruto Shippuden every weeknight at 10pm ET/9pm CT from the beginning starting tonight.
So, if you’ve missed any episodes, or you want to start watching, NOW is the time!

Thanks for the heads up slow. I’ve missed a few, and I was hoping to see this at another time.

Which is probably why I’m skipping the TV broadcast for the most part.
The edits on XD Disney don’t bother me because I know they could be much worse (like editing out weapons or that characters do hurt each other at all). I mean, c’mon–it’s Disney, so it definitely wasn’t going to be uncensored, IMO. I think the gist of what goes on is still intact even if it’s not in graphic detail…
Yesterday’s episode was one of the weaker ones in a while. Still far superior to the filler-fest of the first season so I’m sure all of us will take what we can get.
However, to me the episode can be summed up in one word: Tease!
Wait till you see how they ring the doorbell in the next episode.

There is a lot of that in Shippuden.
