Such a cute and lovable Ghost; a “bloated sack of protoplasm” type critter. And how can there be a trial without an Objection!

The animation for the courtroom was actually rather cool.
I generally don’t like liney animation, but the way they did the monkey when he started talking was quite wll done.

16 “If the Angels Wore Swimsuits”: The scene is Daten City beach. Beautiful semi-nude girls, glistening in sweat, and fighting to the death! Beach Volleyball fan service.

17 “Ghost: The Phantom of Daten City”: While looking around for men, Stocking falls in love at first sight! However, the man she falls for is absurdly ugly. Tear jerker ending.

I really enjoyed the volleyball game and all the names of their special serves. But the beach ghosts were even funnier!

Stocking has lousy taste in men, but I liked her Nightmare Before Christmas collection. And it didn’t end too badly.

Episode 10

Instead of a two-parter, this one has four parts and a music video.

The first part is pretty crappy, the other three are more WTF than usual, and the music video makes is all worthwhile.

Have to rewatch it for just that part alone.
A portion of it is at 2:36 ("/watch?v=f3q5JrrHj2s#t=154") in the OST preview.

In regards to the season as a whole: 21 parts after 10 episodes.
Looks like we’ll be getting a double-length part again, so that they end up with 26 parts in 13 episodes.

Maybe another 20-minute long Scanty and Kneesocks story. :cheer:

This week’s episode is no where near as enjoyable as Episode 10.

The first part has the girls looking for anything to blackmail Garterbelt with.
In the second, they just sit around and whine when Garterbelt takes forever to make a meal.

Time to go back and re-watch the music video (08 D-City Rock feat. Debra Zeer), and take a listen to these two:

Episode 12 - D.C. Confidential / Panty + Brief

Clip show + Wham episode

The first part has Scanty and Kneesocks providing the “Second Half of 2010 Ghost Report” to Corset, the Mayor. It rehashes the various Ghosts, their origins and defeats, up through Episode 05. Only two things of note in this part.

We get to see what Corset’s interests are, and what the Demon Sisters do to unwind after a bad day.

The second part is a major game-changer. Partner dynamics go wild, and the episode ends with a blatant “To Be Continued”.

For those keeping count, we have had 10 two-part episodes, 1 single-part episode, and 1 four-part episode, for a total of 25. We’ve been promised 26 parts, so Episode 13 looks to be a single-part finale.

Finished up ep. 11

The first part was fun.
It was nice to get a look into Gaterbelts past and rather humorous as well.

Especially…

When you find out, he was just into BDSM in the end.

The second part, I felt slipped a bit.
It wasn’t as humorous as most of the parts in this series.
