Finished up ep. 12
The first part was more of a recap than anything else.
But the second part was awesome!
Somehow, I knew Breif was going to be a hottie!

I liked the Romeo and Juliet movie parody. I was a little surprised about who Brief turned out to be. I didnât think heâd turn out to be such an important character and I have a feeling that the next episode is going to be just that more awesome! I wonder too if Stocking will come back to help Panty. I think she needs her partner!

It was pretty obvious that Panty canât handle Scanty & Kneesocks by herself, not to mention now, with the inclusion of Corset.

The infamous Gainax ending strikes again!

The whole ending battle was way beyond epic, but they left it completely open and it even says âTo Be Continued Next Seasonâ, which means they intend to continue it.
Sadly, Gainax is quite famous for their screwy endings, and on most occasions, donât even bother with making another one.
Iâd say, getting another season of P&S w/G is completely dependent on how well the first season does, but weâll see as time progresses.
That really was a great ending!

I really canât picture Panty being a farm girl - but I also couldnât get that song âThank God Iâm a Country Boyâ out of my head. :laugh:
Iâm really happy that Stocking came back and that Panty got in her 1,000! Garterbelt and Corset were hysterical.
But the ending was a bit of a shock. Stocking is a demon? And she cut Panty into pieces? Love the twist and canât wait for next season!

I watched the first half of the first episode, and I could tell I wouldnât like the rest of the series. I donât mind the art style that much, but it was really the type of humor that was used. I donât really like bathroom humor all that much. Itâs fine that other people liked it, I just couldnât get into it.

Funi was exactly who I expected to pick it up, and in fact they announced it a little later than I had expected them to. However, Iâm still not a fan of announcing a show when you have no intentions of releasing it until next year.
Yeah thatâs why I generally prefer Sentaiâs method. Only ways they announce early is if they got a package deal when they announce a simulcast or if the Japanese side spills the beans.
Guess Funimation was able to outbid the others again.
You really have some deep-seated issues with FUNi.
As much as I like Sentai, as long as itâs actually coming out in a purchasable physical form, I really donât care who gets it.
Though I would be rather sad if someone else other than Sentai picks up Madoka.
I wonder if we might be looking at a tv deal for this show, remember the fiasco with the Adult Swim boardsâŚ
Good for fans of the series, and I actually expect this to be a decent hit.
It wasnât really a fiasco. Itâs something theyâve done from time to time with other shows. It also wasnât the first time people blew it out of proportion. Itâs possible, but remember that anime comedy has never done well on AS. Both Milk Chan and Shin Chan bombed.
I miss Shin-Chan so much.
To be more precise, comedy anime has never really done well.
Sadly, the general comedy shows that AS airs (Family Guy, Robot Chicken, etcâŚ) blows any anime out of the water in ratings.
Yeah, I suppose I could have been a bit more precise there, but I was only discussing anime in particular.
Also Froggy, Season 3 of Shin Chan starts coming out on DVD in July. It will probably not be on TV however. Remember that this is Funimation release, so the DVDs will likely be delayed at least onceâŚlol
