Iâm sorry, Outlander. You got a pre-press version of the ad. Since that mock-up was created weâve made a few changes:
-
Test marketing has shown that we need to lower the price. The focus groups indicated that the optimum pricing for the product is $19.95. They also indicated that they expect us to throw in an outrageous deal as part of the marketing campaign. Therefore, as of 11/8/2011, if you buy one product at $19.95, youâll get a second one at no extra charge-just pay separate handling and delivery. The estimated handling and delivery fee is $27,584.22, with the final cost dependent on the availability of NRC certified Teamster delivery drivers.
-
The illustration you have is not âBobâ (which is the standard model) but âRobertaâ (the deluxe model). As befitting a deluxe model, Robertaâs, um, âcompensationâ is a bit greater than Bobâs. It is presently estimated at half of everything you own, dependent upon the retaining of a first-class matrimonial lawyer.
[details=As for âBobâ, we have new art work for him]
We regret that the pre-press ad test was released. We are also consulting our lawyers as to what relief may be profitable appropriate

I also do accupuncture with mixed results, including but not limited to: blindness, impotence, inability to see the color yellow, heightened sense of smell but only to the scent of sugar beets, flatulence that repells door to door salesman but draws garden slugs, eye herpes, hot flashes behind the right knee, salt and vinegar potato chip cravings, and incontinence the second Tuesday of every month.

Dear Friends,
Today is a big day.
Slowhand has kept my secret for a few years now, but the time has come to tell you. As you might have guessed, I am in banking, but never revealed exactly what I do. I am a corporate level vice president for J.P. Morgan Chase. I oversee the division of Risk Management it has a permanent core staff of about 275 people with a temporary staff for a special 2 year project of another 900 people. Our task is to mitigate risk or something that would adversely affect the Bankâs profits and either neutralize them or turn it into a profitable situation. I can say it is one of the most successful, efficient divisions in the financial world. I have been honored and fortunate to help shape it, along with the many talented professionals under my guidance.
Before that, I was an n assistant VP in charge of international investments modeling and research. That group performed research on overseas stocks and other investments and identified potential profit opportunities. We also developed âScriptsâ of buy/sell procedures for Chase Personnel on Wall Street.
No longer. Today I have announced my retirement beginning Jan 1 2012
I have met all of my personal, financial, and professional goals I set for myself when I first entered the workforce. Iâm able to retire about 15 years earlier than the norm, thank God. I have been blessed. With all my goals met, there is nothing else now. Itâs all pointless, I donât have the desire, and burning ambition I always had. and itâs time to leave. I am young enough to go in another direction. I am going to dedicate myself to my favorite Charities, Habitat for Humanity, and animal rescue groups and shelters. I have been âhiredâ as a volunteer for the Chamber of Commerce sponsored group of retired executives to help and advice start up business to get them up and running and help them be successful. We also conduct workshops for those who want to start their own business.
But all of this will be at my pace, I will have plenty of time for myself, to enjoy my life on my own terms
It has been an exciting, wild, breathless ride in banking. I wouldnât trade it for anything. Itâs time to Chart a new path, a new voyage awaits.
For a short while I will answer any questions you may have for or about me, either personal or public. Perhaps you will find out a little more about me, if you are interested.
Thank you for your time[/quote]

Congratulations on your successful career, Outlander. Do enjoy your retirement. (and may I say, I am a bit jealous right nowâŚ)
Thank you Newshawk, but please donât be jealous.
We all have our personal goals, our own type of happiness to strive for. I am sure you are making good progress in yours. Do you not have the Love of yor Life? Do you not have a loving family?,including grandchidren? I think that is a great success

Perhaps Newshawk is jealous that you can retire 15 years early?
As for your ability to retire early, and work towards helping those things you feel passionately about, my congratulations. I hope to one day work towards helping others in need.
