Congratulations.

Iā€™ve been heavily involved banking in my career on several occasions.

Full Disclosure: I successfully chartered and helped start two national banks and worked for a holding company that owned 5 other banks in Oklahoma.

Itā€™s a great business if you can stand the pace, Iā€™m glad you got what you wanted and have hit the exit! B)

Congrats on meeting your goals buddy, that I would say holds great value. So aside from charity work, is there anything youā€™re considering jumping into? I know youā€™re a huge fan of art, do you think youā€™ll mess around with that?

Congrats Outlander!

It is nice to see someoneā€™s hard work pay off in the end. Now you can enjoy time with the wifu! Did you save enough to also enjoy a personal loli collection?

We here will have to celebrate more after Jan 1 2012!

I may find other local charities to be invovled with. I have not been as active with my art collection as much lately, but that will change. We plan to travel a little. I would like to attend other Anime cons around the country.

Congrats on setting the date and getting all those ducks in a row. Hope Mrs. Outlander has her bags all packed and her surfboard all waxed. (Or maybe you should take a long nap first?)

Whatever happens, just do it at your own pace and have fun!

Oh Outlander, how wonderful! It sounds like youā€™ve really done some great things and you should be proud of such a successful career.

I think Iā€™ve mentioned this before, but I have a relative that worked for JP Morgan. Like I said, I think itā€™s JP Morgan. She is from Ohio, but Iā€™m not sure if she worked there, or in New York. With all of the people in your department alone, Iā€™m not sure if youā€™ll know her, but the name is Marchak. They come from my mothers side, and every person in the family is either a Doctor, Lawyer or investment banker. My uncle was originally the editor for The Weekly Reader.

Congradulations Outlander!! Glad to see everything work out so well for you, and I hope you have a great time in your retirement. :3

It sounds like you have quite a nice plan with helping out with the charities later.
And as for the attending of conventions around the country, Iā€™d be interested in meeting you at one of the ones Iā€™m going to (Otakon, Animazement); if you want, that is.

Any question, hmm? What is your favorite color?

Congratulations on retirement Outlander!

Nice pick for charity organizations by the way, I helped with Habitat for Humanities for a year n half, they are a VERY good charity organization and you get one heck of a workout and learn a lot being with them!

I love it Outlander! Congrats . . .

So, what do you contribute your success to motivating and leading others to?
How did you learn that, and how did you keep your wonderful sense of humor throughout the whole process?

  1. As someone who came up from the trenches, I saw lots of bad people skills and management overbearance. Forcing, brow-beating, threatening, etc. That type of leadership style results in a negative effect. You get better results with positive reinforcement. Encourage your staff to do great things, Let the employees be aware of the standards expected, Treat them with the respect for the professionals that they are and leave them alone. Allow them to be brilliant and think out of the box to get great results and just stay out of the way as they do it. One should lead by example. There is more to it than that, I could write a book, so this is the short version

  2. Iā€™m a little crazy. Seriously, a little humor goes a long way in building teamwork. It puts the staff at ease and it letā€™s them know itā€™s o.k. to have fun at work.

I always knew you were more than just a dirty mind. Congrats on the retirement Outlander. I know youā€™ll enjoy spending all your time driving your beautiful wife crazy. If I could I would love to quit my job and work full time for the Humane Society. I have always been much more passionate about my volunteer work than my job. But alas I must eat.

Well, tomorrow, Friday 12/30/2012 is my last day at work. I have already cleaned out my office some time ago and my successor is there now. Iā€™m trying to figure out where to put some framed original anime art from my office at home.

Iā€™ve said my goodbyes; I might see my old admin assistant though. I will turn in my security clearances, sign some paperwork at personnel and drop in and see the exec compensation officer to make sure everything is in order (that I get all my retirement, stock options and stuff) Just wander around a bit and leaveā€¦forever. Iā€™m on my own time now

Will you do any cartwheels or backflips on your way out tomorrow?

Do you have a separate savings account for prostitutes and lolis?
