You have not filled the rules button in, inother words you are lead to a blank page, didn’t hentai finish those for you?
I can’t edit my profile without entering a birthdate. Is that public information? I’d rather not disclose that I’m an old lady.

They’re good to go for the most part, I’m just waiting for certain features to be ready so that I can embellish the FAQ some more. I’m hoping the Rules tab can house the rules for the forum, and the Help tab can contain the FAQ.
One minor annoyance I noticed: if you shrink the window in Safari 4, there are no scroll bars across the bottom. You’re just stuck with whatever view you get.
WHAT’S ON -> DirecTV -> Show: Blue Drop, Submit = returns to list of providers.
Update: No longer goes back to list of providers.
Filter by Show returns entire list regardless of what is input.
Filter by Episode filters out everything, returns nothing.
Filter by Start Date and by End Date work. (They match substrings; “3-2” = 2010-03-25.)
WHAT’S ON -> Anime Network on Devices -> See What’s on at YouTube = returns to providers.
Update: Works correctly; returns the subset of shows available on YouTube (29 out of 120+).
WHAT’S ON -> Anime Network Online -> Filter: Subscription Level -> Registered, Submit = results exclude Level=Guest (which are available to Registered as well).

Forum Search function is not working:
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,65/func,search/
None of the search form boxes for keyword and name are there.
Alongside that issue, the “Reason for Editing” box is also invisible whenever editing a post.

The birthday you enter in your profile does NOT show up anywhere.
The birthday that is showing up in the little ‘cakes’ under some peoples’ avatars is entered in the Control Panel are where you can also put your sig.
The videos don’t seem to work in Chrome on my Mac. They just give the following message, and the actual video never loads:

Javascript/Flash Required
Your IP: X.X.X.X
Your Country: US
(It works OK in Safari, and it worked OK in Chrome prior to the redesign.)

Mac with Chrome user here, videos are loading just fine for me.
I’m pulling all of your comments together into a report. We’ll be addressing these issues over the next few days.
On future bug reports, I need a few pieces of info:
- What browser you are using and it’s version!!!
- What Operating System you are using
- What version of Flash Player you have
If you are having a problem watching a show in the Online Player, please post that info in the
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,65/catid,5/func,view/id,39967/
(This way, I’ll get to it faster!)
There, include the above info, plus:
- What show/episode you are watching, SD or HD, in window, pop-out, or full screen player
- If you see any timecode or duration appear in the player control area.
- Your connection type & speed
If you are experiencing a problem with screen alignment, text showing up, or objects being cut off, attaching a screenshot is very helpful.
PLEASE NOTE: At present, the website is not optimized for mobile and other non-traditional browsers (PlayStation, Smart Phone, etc…) So far, it’s working (aside from the Online Player) fairly well on the iPhone 3G, decently on Blackberry, and pretty good on Droid.
If you are running IE 6, we strongly recommend updating your browser to 7 or 8!
Thanks again for keeping us informed on how things are running. It was your feedback that shaped this new site’s design and function, so we want to keep hearing from you!
Cheers!

Were you able to get videos to play in Chrome? Was it just one video or all of them?
If you’re still having problems, I need more info.
- Exact Operating System Version [ex: OS 10.6.2]
- Exact Flash Player Version [ex: 10,0,42,34]
- Which shows/episodes are having a problem, or is it all of them?
Please respond in the http://www.theanimenetwork.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,65/catid,5/func,view/id,39967/

To Love Ru show page is missing a Watch Tab in the newest Firefox.
Yeah, I’m finding some of these, too. It’s a glitch with the Pretty URLs. If you guys find any more, just post:
& I’ll fix it right up!
Just fixed:
- Blue Drop
- Clannad
- Clannad After Story
- To loveru

while in the “post a new message” screen, nothing I hover over shows pop-up help. It’d be nice if it told me through text what the picture means.
I’m using google chrome.
Rather than pop up ALT tags, the yellow bar between this text box & the formatting buttons explains what each one does & what the tags are.
Not a bug or real issue per say ,but is there anyway to make Black the standard font color? This grey is blending with the white to me.
This does not blend in to my eyes.

I’ve included that in the report. It’s set in the forum’s style’s template… not something user’s can customize at present.
This is what happens from sitting too close to the TV or watching anime all night in the pitch dark. Your mother warned you that you’d go blind!
okay so t looks like the photo album upload might be glitchy, I have selected 17 photos to be uploaded to my album, so far the page has not finished loading.
I have a theory that the thing is programmed to only allow a total of 1 MB to be loaded at a time, not as individual pictures, barring that you could have it break down and send the images picture by picture…
yeah so only 2 photos were uploaded so I think it will only do 1 MB at a time rather than all as individual sets
Added to the list. Thanks for the details & screen shot!
I always try to be thorough…
This isn’t as much a bug as it is a suggestion with the new style. On the Community section, specifically on profiles, is there any way you could separate forum activity updates from the community section updates? Maybe something like putting them in their own tabs, that you could look at separately, and then have another tab if you wanted to look at them at the same time? It’s hard for me to keep up with the community section’s activity without being able to watch the updates on there.
Hey gang,
I’ve created a new thread just for your suggestions for this year’s new website! We love your input and have some big plans for the site that will be rolled out through the rest of the year. Got a suggestion? Crazy idea? Post it here:
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,65/catid,18/func,view/id,41805/#41
Let’s keep this thread reserved for reporting bugs and technical issues that you encounter here on the site.
If it’s a problem with the Online Player and streaming a show, post it in the
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,65/catid,5/func,view/id,39967/limi
(It’ll make it easier for us to sort through them and address them quickly!)
