It’s really nice to see these fun characters again!
More stories should begin with a space chase. It really catches your attention right off the bat! The OP is still fun and catchy too.
I still have to feel sorry for Rito. He will be forever stalking Haruna! I guess it will always be too hard to talk to a girl you like, especially when you want to confess to her. LOL And when he does try to confess, fate is always against him, in very funny ways! If only he realized that Haruna already likes him as well.
Once again, Rito’s efforts with Haruna are in vain as a spaceship crashes in front of him. He drags his disappointed self home and ends up in a nice relaxing bath to think.
Just as he decides to get used to girls in general, and wonders how he should do that, the answer falls from the sky – right into his bathtub! Suddenly, Rito is sharing his bath with a beautiful, naked girl. But when he realizes his hands are on her breasts, he is shocked! I still have no idea how he ended up that way and the girl just giggles.
He still can’t believe there’s a naked girl in his bath and keeps staring at her, but when she actually speaks to him to ask him if he’s finished, he screams. I am glad they kept that line in the dub. It’s one of my favorites!
He tries to convince his sister that there is a naked girl in the bath, but she doesn’t believe him. She has a typical little sister attitude towards him and I really like her. She insists he needs to learn the difference between fantasy and reality. LOL
Rito tries to figure out what happened as he goes to his room. Giving up, he opens his door to find the naked girl, wrapped in a towel, sitting on his bed. Shocked and surprised, Rito asks who she is. “Lala, from Planet Deviluke” is her answer. So, now Rito is supposed to believe that this girl is an alien. To prove it, Lala shows Rito her tail.
She thinks Rito’s reaction is really cute. Lala tells her story and sounds like a real damsel in distress, earning Rito’s sympathy, and perhaps awakening his protective instincts. But he’s just too distracted by this naked girl in a towel. He next meets Peke and it obviously does not like Rito. Lala tells him that Peke is a “multi-purpose costume robot” that she created. Lala seems to like making things.
In what looks like a very funny magical girl / tentacle scene, Peke dresses Lala. Rito thinks she’s cute when she asks him, but he really thinks that her outfit is too embarrassing. Suddenly, the men in black arrive! And they appear right in the middle of the room! Apparently, they are the enemy and they followed Peke to get to Lala.
Rito is angry at the “intergalactic kidnappers” but isn’t sure what to do. They grab Lala but she fights them, making a lot of noise and causing Rito’s little sister, sitting downstairs, to think her brother is “gross”. Springing into action, Rito distracts the men, grabs Lala’s hand and jumps out the window. But the men follow as they run across the rooftops. Rito doesn’t even know why he’s trying to help Lala. Again, it’s that “damsel in distress” reaction.
But as they try to escape, Haruna is walking her dog and sees them running on the rooftops. She doesn’t know what to think! As Rito drags Lala into a park, the men have caught up to them. As Rito warns the men to stay away, a bright light appears. A spaceship descends in a “Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ sort of way. I was just waiting for the five tones! LOL
A man in armor beams down and, although Rito is intimidated, he stands up to the man that Lala calls Zastin. Even thinking he will die, Rito decides to protect Lala. But now the truth comes out. Lala is a princess that has run away from home!
She refuses to go home and pulls out one of her inventions, “Roaring Vacuum Buddy”. It sucks up the men, everything in the park, and even Rito. Unfortunately, Lala forgets how to turn it off and it starts to suck up everything in sight. However, as it sucks Rito up, it seems to have overloaded and it explodes.
The next day, Rito is on his way to school, complaining about his lack of sleep. He even regrets helping Lala. As he thinks about his situation, he meets Haruna – and she speaks to him!! He can only stutter in response. But now Haruna tries to tell him that she may have seen him the previous night, but he interrupts her to try to confess. He finally gets the words out and bows, but when he looks up, Lala is standing in front of him. And she accepts his confession, saying that she feels the same way!
Lala wants to marry him right away and a shocked Haruna just stands there, watching in disbelief. Poor girl. And Rito has no idea how to respond.
I did enjoy watching this again and I have to say that the dub fits. The voices are how I imagined they would be. Well done!

She also sucks at aim. Cant even hit retow. I don’t know why you like her
