My PS3 won’t let my log on. I use the same internet log in info on my pc and it works fine.
but the PS3 with the same info gives me a auth fail

Also, Shirobako will be added before Sunday.

There’s a week off between Ep. 12 and Ep. 13 for Shirobako, so there isn’t really a rush on that.

Online Player Technical Issue Report
We need to know some specific information in order to troubleshoot your issue:

  • Give us a short summary of the problem you are experiencing with the Online Player. Quantifiable details are much more helpful than qualitative notes. (ex.: “X Page took 9 seconds to load” vs. “The page took a long time to load”)

  • Is this a new issue that you are experiencing or has it been going on for a while? Is is happening consistently, more frequently than not, or infrequently?

Basic details we need:

  • What Operating System are you using? Which version is it? (Windows Vista, Mac 10.4, etc)
  • What Browser are you using? Which version is it? (Chrome, Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 3.6, etc)
  • Is it happening in just one Browser or in multiple browsers? Please specify which browsers are being affected.

Tell us about your internet connection:

  • What type of connection are you using? (Cable, DSL, WiFI, ect)
  • Run a speed test and post the download speed results - we recommend http://www.speedtest.net/
  • Who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

If you are having trouble with long loading time or choppy video playback, we need to know:

  • Important: Are you using the Native JW Player, Embedded Hulu Player or mobile browser player?
  • Affected Show Title(s) - is it happening to a particular show, certain shows or everything that you have tried to watch? Please give us at least 1 example, so we can test it.
  • Affected Episode(s) - is it happening to a particular episode, certain episodes or all episodes? Please give us at least 1 example, so we can test it.
  • Affected Language Version - if the show is Dual Language, is it the dubbed, dubbed or both versions that are affected?
  • Affected Video Format - is it the SD, HD or both versions that are affected?
  • Is your Flash Player/Plugin up to date?

Basically the same problem reported by Jason546. Any HD stream of a dubbed show I try to watch suffers from really bad buffering issues (either playback is really choppy, or the playback stops for a while and the buffering/loading symbol shows up).

Is this a new issue that you are experiencing or has it been going on for a while? Is is happening consistently, more frequently than not, or infrequently?

It’s been going on for at least a week, especially past around 12pm EST. In the morning, the problem is much less problematic than in the afternoon, and especially the evening.

  • What Operating System are you using? Which version is it? (Windows Vista, Mac 10.4, etc) Windows 8
  • What Browser are you using? Which version is it? (Chrome, Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 3.6, etc) Chrome
  • Is it happening in just one Browser or in multiple browsers? Please specify which browsers are being affected. Every browser, e.g. Chrome, IE, Firefox, same issue.

Tell us about your internet connection:

  • What type of connection are you using? (Cable, DSL, WiFI, ect) **Fiber optic **
  • Run a speed test and post the download speed results - we recommend http://www.speedtest.net/ ~19mbps down and ~13mbps up according to speedtest.net
  • Who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Verizon FIOS

If you are having trouble with long loading time or choppy video playback, we need to know:

  • Important: Are you using the Native JW Player, Embedded Hulu Player or mobile browser player? Native JW Player
  • Affected Show Title(s) - is it happening to a particular show, certain shows or everything that you have tried to watch? Please give us at least 1 example, so we can test it. Everything I have tried to watch, e.g. Samurai Bride
  • Affected Episode(s) - is it happening to a particular episode, certain episodes or all episodes? Please give us at least 1 example, so we can test it. All episodes, e.g. Samurai Bride Ep.11
  • Affected Language Version - if the show is Dual Language, is it the dubbed, dubbed or both versions that are affected? I have only tried dubbed
  • Affected Video Format - is it the SD, HD or both versions that are affected? HD, but I think SD is also affected, just less so
  • Is your Flash Player/Plugin up to date? Yes

If it matters at all, I tried using Google DNS and Open DNS servers, but the problem persists.

@retromonkey Well, thank you for reporting the problem for me. I’m not sure how you knew the problems I’ve been having with the video player, but at least somebody is letting them know what’s going on, I guess.

This link keeps popping up everytime I load any episodes.It started last night.As far as I know amazonaws is a virus???

other than this,I haven’t had any issues with the online player

It’s not a virus, it’s the hosting provider of Anime Network (at least their video content for their player).

This isn’t a virus. Anime Network uses Amazon’s servers for anime viewing.

You need to keep clicking a couple of times on the episode until you find a server that’s open.

Are you still having the problem?

I’m not able to watch Xam’d lost memories. this is a new problem. I started watching xam’d last week and all was fine. as other shows I’ve tried work fine. the problem ,as I see it, is there is no episode info on the watch page. when you use the show info page it tells me I must have a premium account. I have a current premium account. plus xam’d is open to guest on all episodes anyway that’s why I think it’s a glitch on xam’d. anyway… technical stuff is as follows…

flash player is up to date. all other shows work perfectly
provider is cable not sure of the speed.

Xam’d has expired from the Online Player.

This isn’t a problem, it just isn’t there anymore.

Unfortunately, we aren’t notified when shows are going to expire, so this happens without warning.

It may return in the future, but for the foreseeable future, it’s gone.

The easiest thing would be to probably keep an eye on the ~2009-2010 titles.

Speaking of, Special A, Shigofumi, The Skull Man, Uta~Kata and Tayutama: Kiss on my Diety are gone too.

Special A has been gone since November.
Shigofumi has been gone since January.
The Skull Man has been gone since September.
Uta~Kata has been gone since January.
Tayutama: Kiss on My Diety has been gone since November.
