I’ve sent 2 attempts to cancel my subscription since a week and a half ago because I needed the money for the week the subscription payment went through (Today, actually). Today I sent an email to info@theanimenetwork.com informing them of the problem, and still no reply. Will someone help me?
I’ve informed Rai & accounting of your post, please keep an eye on your email, Private Messages and this forum thread for any updates or additional information requests today.

I am set up to pay quarterly and I just noticed that every quarter I am being charged 2 times. It doesn’t happen right away but I will get charged 18.98 then about 1 to 2 weeks later I will get another charge for 18.98. I have gone back a few months and found this 3 times. I have emailed and gotten no response, I did include all of the requested info in my email. I would appreciate a timely response to this, as I have quite a bit owed back to me.
I am so angry right now it is taking everything not go off here. I think I was incredibly clear as to what my problem was. It seems to me that the mod’s and admin on the forum are very helpful and quick to respond, however, the morons in the subscriptions department don’t give a crap about their job or their customers. Instead of reading my email they apparently just assume I am writing to cancel my account so the idiot responds my account is canceled. Never once did I ask for that, I explained in my email they have be charging me two times instead of once. So now my account is canceled and I have no response as to how I am going to be reimbursed or anything. This is so frustrating because there is no one I can speak to. I love anime, and I want to support it. This, however, is making it very difficult to want to continue to support this site. No one likes having money taken out of their account that shouldn’t be taken, it is a serious situation but it doesn’t feel like it has been treated as such. $60 isn’t even going to make a difference in my life but it’s my $60 and I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get assistance on this. I expect an answer as to how this is going to be remedied, and I expect that answer really damn quick.
Hey, guys! I subscribed to the online player about two months ago. I only paid for one month of premium membership, but I can still access all the shows, etc. You may remember a similar issue with me a while back. Last time, you were a big help, and I appreciate it. I don’t know what’s going on, I just thought I should let you know.
The subscription is recurring, meaning you will be billed every month until you request cancellation. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. Thanks.
I have a major complaint about my efforts to try to cancel my online subscription. I e-mailed subscriptions@theanimenetwork.com to cancel my monthly subscription on September 23. On September 27, I got a reply stating my account was canceled. However, my credit card was charged for another month on September 26. On September 29, I e-mail to state my credit card had been charged for another month but did not get a reply. I checked my credit card statement this month and once again, on October 26, I was charged another month. On October 31, I e-mailed to state I was still being charged even though my account was supposed to be canceled and asking for a refund of the previous two months. Again, I never got a response.
This is not the first time I have had problems in trying to cancel a subscription to TAN Online. Thankfully, it was corrected but the problems seem to still exist.
In my opinion, there should be an option to subscribe for a non-recurring monthly subscription. Sign up once, get a month of service and then it stops. No extra charges on your credit card, no trying to get an account canceled.

Forwarded to Admin. Watch your PM or email for a personal response.
I’m from ANIMEONDVD, but since response is taking kinda long, I’m heading out here.
Anyway, the current issue I’m having right now is that there is no way for me to access my card and billing info…
It’s important that I have this so I can cross-reference with the bills I’m getting and make sure that, like what’s going on above, I’m not getting charged twice or any funny business like that.
ANYWAY, is there a way to access this information?
I would seriously prefer it if it was accessible from my profile or something, but I’ve browsed around for forever and, if it is indeed in there, it’s not very obvious.
In any event, other sites make this stuff easy, so I’m kinda wondering why I’m having to struggle just to get simple information.

I did try to answer you over on AOD, but I was having trouble with the site.
Down in the FAQ at the bottom of the page, it explains how to cancel your subscription or how to get in contact with the people handling that.
I will give them a heads-up that you will be contacting them, so they’ll be looking for your email.
