Missing all updates to TheAnimeNetwork as well as some other VOD Channels (CN is one).
This is not the first time that this has occurred. Having encountered this at other times I have noticed that it usually occurs when I have remained up watching TV, and when the receiver is otherwise on, by accident or by purpose. I do IT work as well as help desk, and suspect that the update for the listings may be missed, and is probably initiated only during the beginning of the show cycles (1st day/eve or 2) and that the update, unlike a software update which requires and requests a shut-down period, makes no such request and simply drops the update. A repeated update (3-4 days) and a visual request to shut-down for listing updates with a listed period for and a description of needed updates would likely be nice.
I have already contacted and informed DirecTV of this possible issue and it may be prudent for you to do so as well.
DirecTV states that this (non-update) has occurred ‘everywhere’. Who am I to say this is incorrect, Ah, additionally the Updates missed are for 2014 12 25, all of the oldest shows were removed the others remain. Receiver is an HR22/100 with software update 0x912, Wed 11/19, 3:15a
