While downloading episodes, I am getting a lot of “Unable to connect to DirecTV” messages. So far, with repeated tries, I have been able to download everything I want.

Frontier FIOs 90505 (CA)
Frontier in the LA area has still not made the transition to the SVOD HD format. I don’t know if it is scheduled to happen soon because we are approaching the disappearance of any ANO episodes on the Frontier menu. Outside of the Initial D: the Movie - Legend 2: Racer, the only episodes currently available are from March 29 per the Frontier schedule on the ANO website and these are all due to expire on 4/27 (Frontier has not added episodes for the past 3 weeks).

I’d like to update, as of 5:00pm this afternoon none of the 4/19 updates have been received. Only the six (6) non-listed episodes were added during this week. Now down to 26 episodes listed. Let’s hope Frontier fixes the problem or launches the new format. At least I can mirror HiDive to my t.v. in the interim.

Important update! It appears that Frontier is in the process of changing the structure for Anime On-demand. After a call last night with customer service and tech support, Frontier is in process of upgrading their servers and fiber network to handle the growing customer base and video libraries. See below of the new shows listed but not in this week’s updates, now up to 100 episodes. I think that after this weeks update, 4/26, I will lose the last of the old or currently list shows, see last image below:
Now we just need the show/episode guide to be updated to reflect the change.

Something I just noticed. On the living room Mini Box you can actually lock the Anime Network channel from use. This feature doesn’t seem to apply to the Master Box or bedroom Mini Box
