Best Buy had this release as an exclusive. It is no longer exclusive and they have changed their release date from July 14 to September 15.

Personally, should be about 1 year later. The point, as always, is to hit the collectors market first, then people who want the regular edition can get it when the regular edition releases

From what I saw, I wonder if the show might’ve been better off doing like the Grimgar series did and pretty much forgetting that it was an isekai.
Brings back memories of the Rokka and the Six Braves debacle.

They got it as part of the Geneon deal that Arms/Sojitz sabotaged that should have gone to ADV 
,but yeah they did not go after most of the lesser selling shows when the Geneon license expired .
