Thank you guys!
Both the homepage and forum run much smoother now on IE7, and the major lagging is gone for the most part.
It’s still happens on the Schedule page, but all the other pages and forum are working smooth now.
Also, what’s with the Voltron icons for the online episodes?

Good to hear!
Yep there’s a host of fixes they’ve done, it’s not just the new Online Player offerings, but website and forum back end changes and updates that can’t be seen visually on the surface. Lots going on, I’ll talk more about it early next week. I wasn’t blowing smoke with It’s Coming thread. Good to know it worked out for you and other IE7 users. (I upgraded to IE8 for those interested last week, seems fairly stable, though a bit slower than the previous iteration on my computer).
We’re going to be doing some maintenance on our servers this afternoon. We anticipate there may be an outage on the site from 4PM to 5PM Central while the database is updating.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause today, but these updates should improve performance for the site’s current and future features.
Yes Slowhand, I just tried the “search” and I got the same -
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substr() in /vhosts/www.theanimenetwork.com/components/com_kunena/class.kunena.php on line 1309
Also, in the PM system, the reply box has all but disappeared. I find that when I click on “add reply”, the screen kind of freezes and I have to hit my refresh to get the message to post.
I have Opera 10.10.
Thanks!
Edit: While I can see the PM on my side after I hit the “refresh” - the person I sent it to cannot in some cases.
No screenshot, but every time I try to open up the website, I get the following error message in Firefox 3.6.3:
“Content Encoding Error: The page you are trying to access cannot be viewed because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.”
It gives me a chance to try again and when I do the website comes up. Individual pages may or may not load-those that don’t give the same message with the same result when tried again.
BTW, I am using a Dell Optiplex GX620 with a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz processor and Windows XP Pro (SP3) running the aforementioned Firefox. No, I have not tried it with IE.

Thanks for the report. I’ve disabled that feature. Will you please try it again?
