Thanks to Joe’ diligence, I will have to check channel 1000 when I get home tonight. As with everyone else, I am VERY disappointed 
with the updated VOD menu, but that is not TAN’s issue but DirecTV’s Will be getting on the DTV forum and bitching LOUDLY as my next task.

The new layout might be tolerable if selecting Action Zone were to display the list of that category’s seven series over on the left, and then selecting a series would display its four available episodes. Ditto for the seven series under Girl Power and the four under SHFT.
That is the way DirecTV is doing it for big networks.

Can I disagree with you? Anything that adds clicks to the record process is counter-productive, in my view.
This is probably all I should say about DTV’s VOD design here, because it’s probably not the proper place for it.

TAN has been on the fritz otherwise I would have had this out a day earlier. Anyway, there are no updates for this week yet again.
I don’t know why all these problems have arisen. Wave last year had such a good track record, but now ever since the new year started we have been more miss than hit. But, not just misses… major misses! Something is definitely up lately.

Thanks to those who responded to my post on the DirecTV forum. At least as of today (a week later), you were the only ones who have. For what it’s worth, I updated the original post with observations from today’s download, where I may have answered one of my questions about the inconsistent appearance of “ready for playback” icons. Condensed version-the icon seems to disappear when you place the cursor over the recorded episode, and comes back after you move the cursor elsewhere.
